Hello,
On the topic of airport takeoff and landings, I think these speeds could be reduced by up to 30% to be more realistic.

On the other hand, ground speed of planes that just taxi across the screen could be increased by as much as 300%.

But, please do not change anything!
We need to find out why Yo3 does not work in your case properly.
This is a unique case.
I will help you as fast as I can.

I think your license is still valid (check main-menu/Help/About)

Please send me (support@repkasoft.com) file options.xml from the following folder on your computer

-Vista or Windows 7
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\YoWindow
-XP
C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\YoWindow

Replace [your user name] with your Windows login (user) name

From the menu Help / About ....

apart from sending you 2 files options.xml that I found on my computer (Windows 7):

one is located here:C:\Users\FRANCO\AppData\Roaming\YoWindow\options.xml

the other is here:C:\Program Files (x86)\YoWindow\userData\options.xml

I will quote my answer to Franco by email here.

Dear Franco, I have bad news :(
It turned out that you have stored all the landscapes in this folder
c:/users/FRANCO/appdata/roaming/yowindow

When YoWindow is uninstalled the contents of this folder is cleaned up.
If only you to keep the landscapes in some other folder, say C:\landscapes, there would be no problem.

But check out this folder "c:/users/FRANCO/appdata/roaming/yowindow", probably some landscapes are still there.

I have tried your options.xml
And it turned out that YoWindow is working properly with it, except the landscapes from your computer are missing on mine.
Make sure to update at least to the latest b64.

Hi Pasha,

I have not uninstalled YoWindow !

All of my landscapes are safe in another folder.( :) )

Can I uninstall everything to install YoWindow 3 as if for the first time?

How do I retrieve the code for the unlimited license?

Franco.

Hey, Franco!
1. Make sure all your landscapes are safe in another folder - double check this!
2. Uninstall YoWindow
3. Install YoWindow 3
Let me know if YoWindow still asks you for the license key by email.

I guess I'm one of those who spends too much time on fast take-off airplanes and not enough time here -- like, it's been eight months since I wandered in here. And the only reason for popping up now is because I just got around to updating to YoWindow 3.0 and find it. . . wonderful! A BIG thankyou then to the gang -- Pavel, Yuri, Alex and Natalia -- for this latest version of a software that never fails to entertain yet simultaneously inform. Once again, a helluva lot of thought, creative / technical skill and care has gone into this, and if it seems I'm not getting over-excited it's only because I've concentrated too long on the soothing, gleaming waters in the Oriental landscape. In fact, I might just very well go lie down under a tree, and wait for my trusty horse to mosey in across the landscape, ready to haul me backaways to my "village".

Brilliant stuff (as ever), gang, and though it's never going to be possible to please all the people all of the time, I for one have no complaints -- the amount of air traffic going through UK airports nowadays is such that in the relatively early morning hours between 6am and 9am, so many holiday charters are heading off to the sun that the Boeings and Airbuses are darn near doing vertical take-offs to allow the queue behind 'em on the taxi-way to stay on schedule.

About the only question I have refers to an earlier post on this thread which talks about "cars on the Interstate". Huh? Ain't no cars on no interstate on my version of Yo Window -- but perhaps I should hop aboard a balloon and sail up high enough to look down and see if I can spot Highway Patrol???

Meantime. . . Sincere thanks again to all concerned with this new version; as I'm travelling a lot nowadays I don't actually get that many opportunities to bask in YoWindow's comforts -- that new 'skyscape' is uncannily accurate in view of my current globe hopping -- but continue to live in hope that one day, YoWindow will come to the Android OS so I can at last have it running on my HTC Desire HD and Asus Transformer, neither of which I'd be without. For now though:

Большое спасибо!

Dear Howard, thank you for such warm words, it was our pleasure to read :)
I have forgotten to answer to you, so sorry, only today I have remembered to get back.

At this very time we are working hard on Android and iOS editions.
I hope the first version for Android will be available this Summer.
