Hey, friends!
A new feature is ready for your testing.
We have come up with an idea of launching hot air balloons once in a while over YoWindow landscapes.

Pay attention it is available in Release Candidate only.

The launch of a balloon is a rare event.
We are afraid of overloading landscapes with fancy objects.
A balloon is launched once an hour in average.

I'm sure you don't want to wait for so long.
So we have added a secret shortcut.
Press Ctrl-B to instantly launch a new balloon.

The balloon will be launched either from left or right, depending on wind direction.
Make sure the wind is strong enough.
Balloons are not launched if wind speed is less than 2 m/s (2.23 mph)

The balloon is flying over all landscapes - Village, Seaside and Airport as well as picture landscapes.
Just like small white jets.
However, we are still not sure about this rule.
Probably, balloons are not applicable for some landscapes.

Ballons can fly in any time of the day or night.

Sometimes a balloon has a Sun picture over it, sometimes not, this is not a bug, just to increase diversity.

Pay attention that a balloon is randomly floats farther and closer, its speed depends on the wind force.

If you to launch too many balloons with Ctrl-B you will notice that their distance order is not correct.
It's ok, this problem will not happen under regular YoWindow usage.
Ctrl-B is a secret key combination

Pay attention how balloon altitude is controlled by a well qualified pilot

It runs perfect in my landscape!

I specially love the rising flame effect!!
And of course the Sun picture every now and then.
But should you ever consider another picture, maybe this could be one?Thanks again guys!

Werner, I wish our air balloons to be as diverse and beautiful as on your landscape.
Fred, we have an idea of generating many different air balloons, I wish Yura to draw more, please encourage him.
Build number is not a problem, sometimes our automated software fails to update the build page.

Also I think the balloons shouldn't launch if the wind speed is too fast; more than 10 or 12 mph or so. The balloons shouldn't launch when it is raining or snowing or in dense fog.

The balloons probably should NOT be floating around the airport, they could interfere with take-offs and landings.

Nice addition. Well done!

One comment: the balloons fly a little bit too fast, I think. With a west (or east) wind 10m/s, they cross the entire screen in just 30 seconds. Often, they move even faster than the clouds, which are closer to the user's view point.

We have decided not to launch balloons under severe weather conditions.
Balloons will not be launched if
-it's raining or it is snowing
-temperature is less than -15 degrees Celsius
-wind speed more than 15 m/s or less than 2 m/s
Anyway, you can launch balloon whenever you want with Ctrl-B

What do you think, is it ok now?

We have decreased balloon launch interval, they will be launched every half an hour in average.

We have moved balloons from background to a middle plan in Village and Seaside.
In Airport the balloons run in the fartherst background to make sure there is no collision with planes.

We have added more colors and varieties of balloons.
And we are going to add much more varieties in the near future.

And a little surprise.
Type "fiesta" on the keyboard, wait 5-20 seconds, see what happens next
