Re: WARNING: Do not update Flash Player! + Windows FIX !
Thanks to the latest Windows 10 update,
my Win10 now has flash player 20.0.0.272 and it runs great.
Adobe and Microsoft are still working on Windows 8 and 8.1.
I still have to block last week's bad update from my Win8.1.
My Win8.1 is still using flash player 20.0.0.228.
Hurry up Adobe and Microsoft.
Let my Win8.1 join in the celebration.

Re: WARNING: Do not update Flash Player! + Windows FIX !
I just read that Windows 8 and 8.1 will get their version of flash player 20.0.0.272 on January 12th.
See https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2053723 ... 0&tstart=0
So we have to wait until after January 12th to completely celebrate.

Re: WARNING: Do not update Flash Player! + Windows FIX !
Windows 8.1 users,
I know you are tired of uninstalling the bad update that gives you the black screen.
Here is what you need to do.
If it has installed, uninstall it.
Now go to your Control Panel to block the bad update.
Under System and Security, you will find Windows Updates.
In Windows Updates, click on check for updates.
A list of what will update will show in a box.
Scroll down to that bad update and highlight it.
On left side is a box for a check mark.
Check mark it.
Now hover or right click on that bad update.
A drop down menu will appear asking if you want to hide this update.
Hide the update.
Now that it is hidden, it will not be installed.
Since it is hidden and still on your PC, your PC will not try to install it again.
This is the Windows 8.1 solution until January 12th.

Please check the "Flash Player archives" on this page...Палома wrote:Hello! Where can I find the fix Adobe flash player? In order to be able to run yowindow?

It would also be helpful to know what operating system you are on...
Win 8.x users will have to wait a few more days for a fix to be released through the win-update feature...

OK, I operate on WaterFox. I got the Windows 10 upgrade ... last Fall? Summer? 2015.countryroads wrote:Thanks to the latest Windows 10 update,

YoWindow was working great!
Until about a week or 2 ago; I had a 'major update' to the Win10.
Now I get that black screen. For a while, I'd get the temperature degrees icon thing in the tray.
Now, I don't even get that!
I've uninstalled/reinstalled Yo Window a few time - no change.
Any one who can help? Currently, it is 'uninstalled' in case some of you can help, and that would require that whole un install/reinstall process.
Thank you so much any help!

Re: WARNING: Do not update Flash Player! + Windows FIX !
You need to go to Settings and then Update & security.
You should find update KB 3133431.
This needs to install.
You will then have the new flash player 20.0.0.272.

Graciass
Un saludo.
