Good news
YoWindow 3 online is available for testing.
http://yowindow.com/online3
I seem to have done all the features of online edition for YoWindow 3.
Please let me know if you to find anything missing from our YoWindow 2.0 online.
Reply to this message to leave your error or missing-feature reports.
YoWindow 3 is YoWindow 2.0 completely rewritten from scratch.
It is built on top of contemporary Flash technology.
YoWindow 2.0 is technologically old.
That is why such a massive work was required.
A big part of big work is over.
I have started the migration process 8 months ago - in March.
YoWindow widget 3 will be availble this week.
YoWindow 3 desktop is scheduled for December.
We are also working on a new landscape.
It will also be a part of YoWindow 3 desktop.

- ad Calendar #1: maybe you want to consider to add a button "today" to select the current day
- ad Calendar #2: when selecting another day than the current one (at least a day in the future) the time is switching to 15:00 (3 p.m.)
- ad Location chooser: a location with "seaside" or "airport" landscape is displayed. When switching to another location the "village" landscape is displayed but the radio-button in the location-chooser remains at the "seaside" or "airport" option.

1. "maybe you want to consider to add a button "today" to select the current day"
I like the idea.
However you can always get back to Today by clicking "Live" button.
We will talk it over with Yura. Thanks
2. "when selecting another day ... the time is switching to 15:00 (3 p.m.)"
Yes, I have changed this behavior in new calendar.
I should have let you know.
We think this is the way day click should be interpreted.
Clicking on a day moves the time to "day" time. In YoWindow we have decided "day" time to be 15:00
If you click a day in Forecast Panel in YoWindow 2.0 you will see the same effect - the time will be reset to 15:00
Pay attention that arrow buttons on the time bar do not reset the time.
This is made by intention.
3. Definetly an error. I have fixed it.
4. "Work in progress". Sorry I did not understand what is wrong on the picture in terms of YoWindow.
As far as I see there is not enough data in METAR to display the temperature.
In such a case I would peek at YoWindow 2.0 for the same location.
Most likely it will alsow display red letters.
Thank you for the wonderful review, Reinhart

Hi Pavel,
You have a green light on the left wing of all the airplanes. As I'm sure you already know, it should be red. (http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 90&#p11490)

Re: YoWindow 3 online, BETA
Hi Pasha,
I have noticed an interesting thing in the Village landscape of YoWindow 3. It seems to be moved: the root of the big tree can see and the bottom of the house became bigger. I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I thought that I sign it.
Otherwise, the new version is great.

Re: YoWindow 3 online, BETA
Hi Pasha,
I have been studying the above pictures that Adrian has supplied. I have looked at the Village on Chrome, Online, and the Widget. The Village seems to be the only one that this has happened to.
The roots of the tree are exposed. The fence around the house seems to be coming out of the ground. The house appears to have grown. But if you study Adrian's pictures closely, nothing has happened to the tree, the fence around the house, or the house. What has occurred is the pasture in the foreground has dropped. Very soon, Millie will be walking on air!
Look at the Autumn Foliage in the center of the landscape. You will see that more hill has been exposed at the base of trees on that hill. If you raise the pasture, the landscape will be exactly what it is in the current YoWindow. When I refer to the pasture, I am referring to the road and the pasture on both sides of the road.
I hope this information helps you out.
Marty
