Hi Fred,
I could not see the birds on the picture landscapes at first. They don't seem to start up immediately the way the birds in the village do. Wait a few minutes and you should see the birds flying. It is almost like they are flying behind some of the objects in the picture and have to get out into the open sky.

Hi Fred and Pasha,
I think I have tracked down the discussion about seasons that the two of you are referring to. Daddylito and the two of you were having a discussion about Winter Landscape on February 10th. http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=554

Fred, the birds still float, as far as I see.
We have evaluated custom season-maps as a low priority task, so it is put off until the major ones are done.
Probably a better solution is to let the user to choose the season manually.
What do you think?
Marty, thanks for finding the discussion, I have made the link clickable.

Hey Pasha,
I know it is not the right topic here to discuss about the season maps, but we started it here.
You told me that there are 5 season maps in Yowindow. So I was looking a complete year with the calender function for my location (Mallorca/Spain).
Here the result:
spring from 22.3. to 21.4.
summer from 22.4. to 22.10.
autumn from 23.10. to 23.11.
"naked" winter from 24.11. to 21.3.
There is NO snow picture :?
So I checked it with a village in Germany ... there have 5 pictures.
Now I'm really confused because we have also wintertime with snow in Spain. Do you agree?
Werner

Re: RC 382
You may check the season-map for any place in main-menu/Location/Location Properties
No problem, we just need to adjust the season-map to display winter picture for Mallorca when appropriate.
If you know when the snow usually covers Mallorca, let me know, I will add a season-map point for Mallorca and nearby regions.
Here's a post about how to submit the season-maps

@Marty:
- Thanks for digging up the discussion.
- You are right (of course ): I've seen the birds after some time. Must have been to impatient!
@Pasha:
- You're right also (of course ): The birds still float. Like I said: I must have been to impatient, sorry about that!
- I think it would be a great option to have the seasons have chosen manually :!:
Thanks.

Hey Pasha,
I think, the best way would be to give the users the possibility to set the season maps individual and manually ...
No questions, no answers, no discussions ... so I agree with Fred.

Re: RC 382
Hi Pasha, Fred, and Werner,
Adjusting the season maps manually on our own personal desktop would not be a problem. It does become a problem on the widget.
If you allow manual adjustment on the desktop, you should allow manual adjustment of variables on the widget. But if you do, many people from the same location could be showing different seasons on their websites.
What is your opinion on the widget?
Marty

Pasha and Fred,
I found two more discussions that you had with Daddylito on Seasons. You can find them under Season Maps.
Seasons in The Netherlands October 30th http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=66
Seasons displayed October 25th http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=36

Hi Pavel,
if you go to "Options" -> "Advanced" and have the "I want to have fun"-option checked, if clicking on the "Apply"-button, the check-mark is removed and the message "You have to restart the application for this to take effect" pops up.
